The number of contracts will vary according to the account size, as follows:

25k account - Up to 4 mini contracts or up to 40 micro contracts; 

50k account - Up to 10 mini contracts or up to 100 micro contracts; 

100k account - Up to 14 mini contracts or up to 140 micro contracts; 

150k account - Up to 17 mini contracts or up to 170 micro contracts; 

250k account - Up to 27 mini contracts or up to 270 micro contracts; 

300k account - Up to 35 mini contracts or up to 350 micro contracts;

Is the contract limit per account or per asset?

It's per account, and therefore, regardless of the number of assets you are trading, you should not exceed your account's contract limit.

What if I exceed my account's contract limit? 

Exceeding the contract limit is a serious rule on the trading floor, as it means operating under different conditions than other participants, and therefore your account may be blocked if the infraction is detected, both in the testing and funded phases.

Which contract should I trade: mini or micro contract? 

This is a management decision that the trader must make considering their technique, asset, and account size. However, we recommend that smaller accounts, such as those with 25k contracts, be traded with micro contracts whenever possible.

I was trading with 1 micro contract and changed to 1 mini contract. Is there a problem? 

Unless 1 mini contract becomes your frequent "hand size," this sudden change will be seen as a violation of the consistency rule, as you are now trading 10 times larger without a gradual increase.
