How Does Drawdown Work at Ylos Trading?
- Challenge Accounts:
- The drawdown is calculated at the end of the day (EOD). It is adjusted only at the daily close, avoiding intraday fluctuations from adversely affecting the account. There's no drawdown adjustment during the day or during trades, only at the end of the day.
- Master Funded Accounts:
- The drawdown is of the trailing type, adjusted in real-time, until you reach a profit equivalent to the drawdown value plus US$100. From that point, the drawdown becomes static.
Example for a US$50,000 Account:
- The drawdown is US$2,500, setting the loss limit at US$47,500.
- If you make a profit of US$500, your balance becomes US$50,500.
- Your drawdown remains at US$2,500.
- Your new loss limit will be US$48,000.
Once adjusted, the loss limit does not revert to the previous value. When the accumulated profits reach US$2,600, the drawdown becomes static, and the loss limit is set at US$50,100.
